Hello Beautiful Soul!

MY STORY

Originally from a small village in the wine country of France, I have always had a thirst to travel the world.
I discovered Yoga during a trip to India and in the process found parts of myself I didn't know were there. I did a short 3 week course on the fundamentals of Yoga in Rishikesh and my love for the practice grew stronger each day.
In my twenties, my biggest problem was consistency. I was moving a lot, discovering the world and didn’t always find the time (or more accurately make the time) for my Yoga practice and it slowly faded away. At the time, I didn’t realize what I was losing.
A few years ago, I found myself at a crossroad, feeling lost and battling with an eating disorder. I felt stuck at my job and uninspired, the future seemed bland and not in line with my heart and soul. I didn’t know how to get out of the hole I dug for myself. I started to think back at the things that made me happy, things I stopped doing for myself and Yoga was at the top of the list. I enrolled in a 200hours Yoga Teacher Training, not realizing the major impact it will have on my life.
For the next 6 weeks, I reconnected with myself, my true self. I found joy in movement again, I was seeing my body not for the way it looked but the way it felt and all the things it was able to do. The community was amazing and supportive. I was growing stronger not only physically but mentally. My heart was full. When the course finished I was so inspired, I jumped right into teaching and started growing that amazing and loving community. I had found my calling, my path. The rest is still unfolding…

YOGA, POETRY IN MOTION

Being the daughter of a talented photographer (my father) and a brilliant artist (my mother), art and creativity has always been around me. I found my artistic side not in chalk or through the lens of a camera but in writing and Yoga. Words and movements.
To me Yoga is a way to fall in love with your whole self. Your body, your mind, your soul. Freeing yourself from expectations and finding gratitude in who you are today and everyday. Growing strength from the uncomfortable whether it be physically, mentally or emotionally. Being totally, uncompromisingly, unapologetically you.
YOGA FOR THE MIND

Yoga is not only about movements. It can obviously do amazing things for your physical health but it can do just as much (if not more) for your mental health.
Yoga is kindness, love, compassion and support not only towards others but towards yourself as well. It challenges you to learn from the uncomfortable, to approach your difficulties with curiosity instead of frustration. Yoga is letting go and letting in all at the same time.
