Arm balances are empowering poses that teach us about our inner strength and balance while reminding us about our playful side. They can be intimidating and at first glance they seem to have mainly a strength factor, but the most important part to unlock these poses is the understanding of the mechanics and skills involved.

We will start with a Vinyasa Flow to prepare the body and the mind for the poses. In the second part of the workshop, we will explore the following poses individually: crow and all its variations (side crow, flying crow, flying pigeon…), hurdler, twisted hurdler, 8 angle pose (and firefly if time allows). We will learn how to get into the poses and try several variations, so that everyone, including complete beginners, can find what works best for their body.​
